Inside Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell and Wife Leighanne's 'Magnificent' Chateau of 20 Years
It was love at first sight for Brian and Leighanne Littrell — and their now-18,000 sq. ft. Atlanta mansion.
Months before they tied the knot 20 years ago, the couple moved into the then-5,600 sq. ft. home after falling for its "timeless" feel and glamorous decor.
"We bought it with amazing art and antiques. When we got the keys, it was like, 'Don't leave us with the babies!'" jokes Leighanne, 51, an actress who also manages their 17-year-old son Baylee's country-music career. "It was magnificent, but we were so scared."
Since their big move-in day, the Littrells have put their personal touches on every room of the home. From overhauling the kitchen to building out a "wing" for their son, to adding a "playhouse" section of the house, Brian and Leighanne have spared no expense to perfect their dream abode.
"This place had a certain class, and we've tried to make it better in every way we could," says the Backstreet Boy, 45.
On any given day, "I move stuff around, buy fabric to make curtains ... people think I'm crazy sometimes!" adds Leighanne.

On their massive property (which includes a lake), the couple has a sizable guesthouse for visitors, a pool house, an indoor basketball court featuring original flooring from Kentucky's Rupp Arena and more. With nine bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, there's no shortage of space for the Littrells and their two dogs Willie and Ellie Sue.
Their favorite rooms are ones where they can hang out as a family, and dad and son can often be found jamming out in the home studio.
"It's one of the most creative spots," says Brian. "This is where all the ideas come, and we like to spend time as a family."

Meet the Real-Life Loves of the Backstreet Boys
Kevin Richardson
While Kevin Richardson and wife Kristin have been married for nearly 25 years, their path to wedded bliss included a few detours. The couple met prior to the formation of the Backstreet Boys, while both were performing as characters at Walt Disney World in Orlando in 1992. “She walked into the cafeteria, and it was like someone turned a light on,” Kevin told PEOPLE in 1999.
But their burgeoning careers — Kristin, an actor and dancer, has performed with the Radio City Rockettes and toured with Cher — frequently kept them apart. They broke up and reunited more than once before Kevin popped the question in December 1999. The couple married the following summer.
Kevin and Kristin have spoken openly about their fertility issues. After welcoming their oldest son Mason in 2007, the couple struggled to have a second child. But in 2013, their youngest, Maxwell, finally arrived, and Kristin detailed their journey toward expanding their family in the 2015 documentary Pushing Motherhood.
Both Kevin and Kristin frequently share candid family photos on Instagram, including a pic with their kids at the 2024 Super Bowl and an adorable set of photo booth shots while waiting for a delayed flight.
Brian Littrell
Even if “As Long as You Love Me” weren’t one of the Backstreet Boys’ biggest hits, it would certainly have a special place in singer Brian Littrell’s heart: he met wife Leighanne, than an actress and model, on the set of the video for the single in 1997. The couple married in 2000.
“One of the things I loved about him when we first met was if we ever had a problem, he had this willingness to do better for the relationship,” Leighanne told PEOPLE of her husband as they marked their 20th anniversary in 2020.
"Nothing is ever peachy keen and perfect all the time, but being able to grow together instead of growing apart is the big thing,” Brian said of the couple’s longevity.

Neither of them was seeking love, but it found them most unexpectedly. "I had no clue who the Boys were," Wallace reminisces, adding to the charm of their serendipitous meeting. In the video, the boys act out scenes where they are auditioning girls - and Leighanne, then 27, was one of those girls. The first day of that video shoot was the 15th of June 1997. We were out in Los Angeles shooting a video for a single that was coming out; I was heading to the shoot, and I had a stack of the headshots for some of the young ladies that were going to be in the video, so I started thumbing through them, and the last one I came to was Leighanne Wallace, and I was like, "Wow, she's pretty. I have to remember that (her) name," because she was just stunning. We got to the video shoot, and I was already, you know, had makeup and wardrobe and all that stuff, and we had been filming, and she was nowhere to be found.
