Alexx wesselsky biography for kids

Megaherz began as a musical project of Alexx Wesselsky. The band was essentially unformed until 1993, when Christian X-ti Bystron and Wenz Weninger joined the band.

Megaherz has gone through many changes in musical style since their founding. Their early works are a fairly dark alternative metal, comparable to 1990s American bands such as Faith No More, whereas recent works are comparable to bands such as Oomph! and Rammstein. After Noel Pix joined the band as keyboarder, their music started to show more of an industrial influence. The first example of the band's step towards industrial metal was their third album, Kopfschuss ("Headshot"), released in 1998. This album was followed by Himmelfahrt in 2000 and Herzwerk II, Alexx Wesselsky's final album for the band, in 2002.

In October 2002, vocalist Alexx Wesselsky announced that he would be leaving the band due to creative differences, but he would finish the current tour. He officially left the band on January 1, 2003. He has since formed the group Eisbrecher with another former member, Noel Pix. In April of the same year, the remaining members announced they had found a new singer: Matthias "Jablonski" Elsholz of Twelve After Elf. Elsholz was already familiar to fans as his vocals had been briefly featured on the track "Falsche Götter" ("False Gods") from the album Himmelfahrt. In August 2003, Megaherz announced that they were looking for another vocalist, and by June 2004, a new album was under way. Shortly thereafter, a new song was released with a small Macromedia Flash animation, substantiating the rumors of a new singer. This song was later revealed to be "Zeig' mir dein Gesicht" ("Show Me Your Face"), from the album 5, which was released on 6 December 2004, and rereleased in the USA by Eclipse Records on 21 February 2006.

On September 23, 2005, it was announced that the rest of the tours for the year woul

    Eisbrecher Interview

    English version

Eisbrecher was founded in 2002 by the singer Alexander (Alexx) Wesselsky and the guitarist Noel Pix from Megaherz - considered to be one of the most important German industrial rock bands. They managed to become even more successful with Eisbrecher. Their Album “Die Hölle Muss Warten” reached number three in the German charts. They have just released their 6 album, “Schock”. I met up with the charismatic vocalist Alexx with a bit of support from the guitarist Jürgen Plangger and Bassist Rupert Keplinger to discuss it, media national stereotypes and a lot more.

The band is considered as one of the leading bands in the Neue Deutsche Härte genre, a title that they are not too happy about.

    -       I have said before, that if people want to call us NDH it’s ok with me, says Alexx, But we don’t see ourselves as that. We are not very new. I am 46 so I am more like Alte Deutsche Härte. Everyone always wants to label you. Something that we are not interested in. We are a rock band singing in German and are just simply so fucking good. If people want to call us the crown jewels, kings or gods of NDH it’s fine with us. It’s always the recipient that makes the message.

At this point Jürgen speaks up and adds that they are definitely more than just NDH. On the question if the new album will take another direction,  Alexx answers that it won’t. They have found a style that works for them.

    -       If you like the last five albums, you will like this one too, continues Alexx. It’s not like all of a sudden we thought, We are bored with this shit! Let’s make Motörhead instead….

    -       “Without guitars”, Rupert manages to s
