Mina graduated from William Woods University, Fulton, Missouri. She met the love of her life, and she and Dick were married in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mina’s intelligence, entrepreneurial gifts and never ceasing desire to contribute to society resulted in the creation of two St. Louis-based businesses, a European children’s clothing store named Giraffe and Daffodils, and a day spa named Tres Jolie, located in Mason Woods Village. Mina trained at Clarins Skin Care Institute in Paris and Tres Jolie became one of the first spas in America to carry Clarins products. While exploring make up lines, Mina discovered a waterproof makeup designed for burn patients. Following her instinctual trait to give back, she traveled to San Francisco to obtain the line and be trained in its application. As a result, she worked with numerous burn patients to conceal their scars and build their confidence.
Mina loved life and all it had to offer. She held an insatiable enthusiasm for new adventures, meeting people, and more than anything, caring for other humans and animals. She provided her time and treasure to several charitable organization and clubs including: Community Alternatives, which merged into Places for People, where she supported mental health relief as a Board Member a Sponsored Search by Ancestry.com DNA This week's featured connections gave Famous Speeches: Mina is 17 degrees from Abraham Lincoln, 19 degrees from Winston Churchill, 23 degrees from Charles de Gaulle, 22 degrees from Vida Goldstein, 19 degrees from Patrick Henry, 22 degrees from John Kennedy, 24 degrees from Hin-mah-too-yah-lat-kekt Nez Perce, 18 degrees from Louis Riel, 18 degrees from Eleanor Roosevelt, 26 degrees from Sojourner Truth, 26 degrees from Richard von Weizsäcker and 19 degrees from William Wilberforce on our single family tree.
