Emory Cohen was born in New York City. He graduated from Elisabeth Irwin High School and started acting at UArts in Philadelphia, receiving a full scholarship.
His first major role was portraying Leo, son of Julia Houston's character (portrayed by Debra Messing) on NBC's Smash (2012). His stand-out roles have included the troubled teen AJ in The Place Beyond the Pines (2012), starring alongside Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling. In Beneath the Harvest Sky (2013), he portrayed Casper, a loyal friend who finds himself caught up in the illegal prescription drug trade in northern Maine. The film, screened at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival, is written, directed, and produced by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly, whose documentary, The Way We Get By (2009), was nominated for a national Emmy. In February 2014, Emory wrapped Paramount's The Gambler (2014) with Mark L. Walberg and in May 2014 shoots the feature film Brooklyn (2015), based on the book by Colm Tóibín. He portrays Tony, the love interest of Saoirse Ronan's character. Scheduled for 2015 release is Stealing Cars (2015), directed by Bradley Kaplan and produced by Rachel Winter, producer of Dallas Buyers Club (2013).

Lee P. Miller is regional director of Glenmede’s New York Metro region. In this role, she leads the Relationship Management team and oversees the day-to-day operations of this region. Miller also serves as a senior relationship manager and works with multigeneration families on wealth planning, family wealth education, and complex trusts.An industry leader specializing in multigenerational wealth and legacy planning, trust administration, and philanthropy, Miller joined Glenmede as a founding member of the New York office.
Prior to joining Glenmede, Miller had served as a member of the Management Team of Threshold Group, a multifamily office, and previously as a managing director and senior fiduciary officer for US Trust’s Wealth Management Group.
Miller received her bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, in American history from the University of Pennsylvania, and her juris doctor degree at Emory University School of Law. She was sworn in at the US Supreme Court. Miller writes and lectures on a diverse range of trust and wealth management topics.
Miller is a member of the Board of Trustees of Emory University, a trustee of the Preservation League of New York State and serves on the Board of Governors of OFF the Record. She is an emerita docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art where she is a member of the Professional Advisory Council. In 2015, she was selected as one of the “50 Most Influential Women in Private Wealth” by Private Asset Management. Miller and her husband, Leslie Freedman, split their time between New York City, Connecticut and Montreal. They are new grandparents to a granddaughter who lives in Los Angeles.

Plot
Antonio LeBlanc is a Korean-American adoptee living outside New Orleans with his pregnant wife Kathy and her daughter Jessie. Due to his criminal record, Antonio is unable to find additional employment to support his family, though Kathy offers to resume working to help make ends meet.
After being physically harassed by NOPD officers Ace and Denny, the former being Jessie’s absent biological father, Antonio is arrested. He is placed into ICE custody and faces deportation when it is revealed that his adoptive parents never naturalized him pursuant to Child Citizenship Act of 2000. Antonio and Kathy seek to appeal his deportation with the help of immigration lawyer Barry Boucher, who requests a $5,000 retainer. Barry warns, however, that if his appeal fails, he can never return to the United States again.
Antonio strikes up a friendship with Parker, a Vietnamese refugee with terminal cancer who came to America with her father when she was a child, and whose mother and brother had died during the journey. After receiving a tattoo of Fleur-de-lis from Antonio, Parker invites his family to a communal cookout at her home. Still unable to afford Barry’s services, Antonio and his friends resort to stealing and selling motorcycles, with Antonio nearly getting caught. Antonio pays Barry, claiming that the money was an advance from work. Barry tells Antonio that due to his criminal record and a lack of factors that would make his appeal favorable, his best chance is to seek support from his adoptive mother, who is still alive – something Antonio had hid from Kat
