She was the only child of singer and actor Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley, as well as the sole heir to her father's estate after her grandfather and great-grandmother died. Early life

Lisa Marie Presley was born on February 1, 1968, the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee, nine months to the day after her parents' wedding. After her parents divorced, she lived with her mother in Los Angeles, and frequently stayed with her father Elvis at Graceland in Memphis.

Presley's parents separated when she was four years old. When her father died in August 1977, nine-year-old Lisa Marie became joint heiress to his estate with her 61-year-old grandfather, Vernon Presley, and Vernon's 87-year-old mother Minnie Mae (Hood) Presley. The “Billie Jean” singer was Keough’s stepfather from the time he married Presley in May 1994 to their divorce in August 1996. In a new interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Daisy Jones & the Six star, 35, said their romance was true love.
